Starting point for this very beautiful route is the mountain station of the cable car Alpe di Siusi. Follow the marking No. 14 and head west to the gentle grassy hillsides, now walk uphill until you get to the refuge Dibaita (1967 m).
The tour of the Bullaccia starts from here. Walk left to join the footpath marked PU through typical Alpine meadows and arrive at the Arnika hut (2176 m). In the summer season (June and July) the fields are at their best, flourishing and full of colours.
Continue east along the footpath marked PU to the Goller Kreuz (crucifix) and to the witches' benches, two enormous stones of red prophyry located on the western side of the rock. The panoramic view is breathtaking.
The tour leads on to the Filln Kreuz (crucifix) from where you can enjoy a view of the Gardena valley, of the little hamlet Bulla at the start of it, of Ortisei, Santa Cristina and Selva.
Continue south-west across the solpes of the Bullaccia on the practically level footpath marked OU or rather 14 and in approximately 1 hour you reach Compaccio.
