The path in memory of Hans and Paula Steger is a nature and culture path with reference to the characteristics of the Alpe di Siusi. Panels along the path tell the story of coral and jellyfish fossils, the witches of the Sciliar and other important themes.

The path starts at Compatsch (markingNo.30) first trough meadows and then crossing the road to the Hotel Steger-Delai. Stay on the path until you reach the tarmacked road to Saltria. Continue south following the marking No12A to the Malga Laranz. Shortly afterwards turn left onto foothpath N12,which takes you downhill towards the Saltria valley.Forthe last part of theroute follow the marking No.9 to our destination at Saltria. The path is very easy and with the markings it is not difficult to orientate oneself.
